Susan Slocum is a successful leader with a proven record of achievement in advertising across various platforms. Most recently, Susan worked at Prometheus Global Media brands Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter/THR.com. At Prometheus, Susan sold the relaunch of The Hollywood Reporter/THR.com, raising its revenue substantially. She also conceived custom programs for top-flight advertisers at the Billboard Music Awards.
Previously, Susan served as Fashion & Retail Director at OK! Magazine and OKmagazine.com (Northern & Shell LTD), where she developed a new editorial and sales strategy for the fashion and retail business, and worked with the editorial team to build integrated media solutions using online and mobile assets.
Before her time at Northern & Shell LTD, Susan was the National Director of Sales and Marketing at Flavorpill, creating a new digital strategy and helping to guide the transition of the brand from an email newsletter to a dot-com with regard to paid media and partnerships.
Prior to that, Susan worked at various publications at Condé Nast, where she delivered annual sales growth of 20 percent and conceptualized and sold numerous multimedia advertising packages for clients at Condé Nast Traveler and WIRED. In 2003, Susan was named "Sales Person of the Year" by the company.
Susan brings her deep knowledge of the advertising industry and power of understanding companies and creating strategies to The Webbys, and is looking forward to executing new ideas that bring optimal growth to the company.
Susan is a graduate of Ball State University and received her Master's Degree at Florida State University. Susan mentors young teens and enjoys outdoor sports in her spare time. She currently resides on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, NY.
