She Truly 'Started From Bottom'

Wendy Clark is, without a doubt, a hard worker. She famously began her advertising career at the “bottom of the barrel” as a receptionist for an ad agency. Today? She’s the Global CEO for DDB Worldwide, one of the ad industry’s largest networks.

Wendy Lifts As She Climbs 💪💁‍♀️

As the first woman to serve as a global chief executive for Omnicom, Wendy uses her platform to uplift other women through diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Within DDB, Wendy has launched the “Talent Has No Gender” program to help advocate for women to be in leadership positions, and led DDB to be the first and only agency to be certified with EDGE,  a company that assesses gender equality in organizations.

She's Lovin' It!

As a leader in the Omnicom Media Group network, Wendy spearheaded Omnicom’s pitch for McDonald’s U.S. creative account in 2016. The pitch was successful, and ultimately the McDonald’s-dedicated agency We Are Unlimited was launched.

Luckily Wendy belongs to the former group. You can catch her on Instagram @wendylclark, professing strong statements about the nutty treat, globe hopping, and giving back.

She Doesn't Believe in Work-Life Balance

Did we already mention Wendy is a hard worker? Well we’re saying it again. She’s been working since she was 16 years old (she was a shift manager at McDonald’s). Today, she still dives head-first into work, which can make living life outside of work a bit difficult.

Her advice? Strive for work-life integration to be a better you.
