Compensation
1. When will I receive payment?
Payment for entries will be made in one sum, once online registration for the Webby Awards is officially closed, at the end of January 2011.
2. How will I be paid?
You will be paid by check or wire transfer.

3. How do I pay for a dinner or cocktail party I'm hosting to promote the Webbys?
First, propose your idea to Emily for approval. Once granted, pay for the event up front if possible. Then, send us your original receipts and we'll reimburse you as soon as possible, either by check or wire transfer.
If you cannot front the cost, we can arrange to send you money from your marketing budget ahead of time.
4. Do I need approval to host an event?
Yes. Please propose your idea to Emily for approval ahead of time. If you want to plan something that requires additional funds, please contact Emily to discuss.
5. Who do I contact for reimbursement? Where do I send my receipts?

6. Does the postage for mailing the Call for Entries locally come from my marketing budget?
No. Postage costs are separate. Provide your receipts to Emily from the postage you've paid, and we'll reimburse you.

7. Where can I get webby logos, press releases, the digital Call for Entries, banner ads, etc...?
All digital assets are available for download in the Ambassador Resource Center.
If you don't find what you need, contact Emily directly.
8. What is the Webby Awards schedule?
At the Ambassador Resource Center online, download the "Key Dates" document.
9. What is considered one "entry?" How are they counted?
Any Website entered into any category is an entry.
Examples:
www.yoursite.com is entered into Personal Website, Travel, and Social/Networking. This is considered 3 entries.
www.yoursite.com and www.mysite.com are entered into Personal Web Site. This is considered 2 entries.
