The Webbys, hailed as "The most prestigious award in the world" by the BBC, is the global index of success for interactive work. The 10th Annual Webby Awards drew 5,500 entries from over 40 countries and from all 50 States, an over 30% growth from 2005.

This year, the Webbys are doing even more to reach the global community through the new Webby International Ambassador Program. Webby Ambassadors are a group of passionate Internet supporters, creatives, and entrepreneurs in 15 countries, serving as a "voice on the ground" in their area.

Simon Goodrich Managing Director Portable Content Simon is co-founder of Portable Content, an ideas studio that creates connected digital and real work experiences. Portable has developed Portable Film Festival, a play in film and Swappler, a play in fashion, as well as offering web and video services to clients including Apple, Adobe, Getty Images, Asahi and 42 Below. Simon is a national board member and President of the Victorian Chapter andr of the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association, the peak industry body for digital businesses. Simon sits on the board of the Mobile Enterprise Growth Alliance (MEGA) and Design Victoria. In 2008, he was recognised as one of Australia's leading entrepreneurs under the age of 30 by Anthill Magazine.
