WHEN AND WHERE
Last year's 10th Annual Webby Awards was held on Monday, June 12, 2006 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Pre-dinner cocktails and a four-course gourmet meal were served to Webby Gala guests in a genuine NY landmark. Cipriani Wall Street stands as a triumph of Greek revival architecture, occupying an entire city block once home to the New York Merchants Exchange.

The 10th Annual Webby Awards was a star-studded affair attended by Prince, Internet co-inventor Dr. Robert Kahn, author Thomas Friedman, and platinum-selling virtual supergroup Gorillaz. SUNDAY SUNSET COCKTAILS ABOUT THE EVENT
Last year's Sunday Sunset Cocktails Event was held on the stunning rooftop of the Soho Grand Hotel the night prior to the Webby Awards Gala. With unimpeded views of Wall Street and The Empire State Building, the event provided Webby VIP's (including sponsors, judges, and Webby winners) the perfect place to network, take in the city and start the award celebration in a New York state of mind. The event was simple and elegant and included attendees from Google, BBC, and Apple with notable appearances by Arianna Huffington and Dr. Robert Kahn. Exclusive Webby cocktails were provided by Grey Goose.

MUSEUM OF THE MOVING IMAGE FIELD TRIP
ABOUT THE EVENT
Last year's Webby Award winners, industry figures, and special invited guests were in attendance at a special Webby Field Trip the day of the Webby Award Gala. Our good friends at the American Museum of the Moving Image opened the doors for the Webbys -- and closed them to the public -- for a unique day event featuring special programming, a full lunch buffet and a few hours to roam halls of video games, movie memorabilia, and even make a video flip-book. Their unparalleled collection of film, television and digital media memorabilia make it one of the city's most prized museums and a space that has attracted notable speakers like director Robert Altman and musicians The Beastie Boys.

ABOUT THE EVENT
The Webby Awards After Party at Soho's Canal Room was a private engagement for Webby winners, sponsors, and guests. With an amazing sound system, eclecctic DJs, and an open bar all night, the after party was an unforgettable ending to a phenomenal Webby experience. Photo booths, provided by AOL.com, offered partygoers a keepsake of this memorable event.
