See below for few questions with Takashi Murakami, renowned artist, NFT pioneer and the 26th Annual Webby Awards Artist of the Year. Takashi is also a new Executive Member of IADAS, and will be lending his expertise to reviewing this year's Webby Awards entries!

I am a Japanese contemporary artist.

What particular expertise are you bringing to the Academy?

Contemporary art.

What are you most looking forward to about reviewing this year’s Webby Awards entries?

I look forward to encountering people and projects that let me feel the era-changing power.

What creative work on the Internet has recently inspired you, and why?

Yuga Labs, because they changed the very rules of the NFT market.

What emerging technology or trend do you think will have the greatest impact on the creative industry?
