Communicate the impact and devastating nature of receiving a brain cancer diagnosis through an immersive digital experience. Respectfully present real stories, encouraging sharing, donations and support. Showcase the accompanying campaign film in an intuitive and easy-to-navigate digital experience.
The Solution
An immersive digital experience that allows users to experience the solitude and gravitas of being in the chair when receiving the diagnosis of brain cancer. The website encourages users to share the site on their social networks and donate if they are able. It also houses shared stories from the brain cancer community of those affected by this terminal disease.
The Results
International recognition and proliferation of the website to a massively increased audience. Site of the Day on Awwwards, a Webby nomination and The Brain Cancer Centre receiving so much new traffic to the site it almost crashed their server. This is coupled with increased donations and press coverage, all supporting the primary goals of more awareness and donations.
