Meet the Team
Describe the brief or inspiration behind your project/campaign? What was your team tasked with?
Our goal with this campaign was to highlight therapists who work in underserved communities through emotionally compelling storytelling. Access to mental health care is more important than ever, yet over 25 million Americans live in areas with too few mental health professionals. This alarming statistic highlights the critical need for greater access to mental health care. As a provider of telehealth services, SimplePractice is working to bridge the gap and provide access to care for everyone who needs it.
Describe your process for creating award winning B2B work. How is creativity at the center of how you work?
Humanity is at the core of everything we do at SimplePractice. When creating award-winning work, we aim to tell real human stories by isolating a human truth and showing how we solve those problems as a brand for our customers.
Did you collaborate with another business on this project? How did you work effectively together towards a shared creative vision?
For this project, we collaborated with Encircle, a 501 nonprofit organization that provides support and counseling for LGBTQIA+ students. We worked with them to identify compelling emotional stories that supported products and features that we offered. Over the course of weeks long production process, we conducted reviews with them to make sure the stories we were telling were aligned with both their mission as well as ours.

Did you utilize LinkedIn in executing this project? What role does LinkedIn play in your greater B2B marketing strategy?
SimplePractice strives to be a thought leader in the space. We often leverage LinkedIn for white papers and industry related reports. Along with the storytelling component of “Better Access to Care” which were launched on platforms like Instagram and YouTube, we also developed LGBTQIA+ continuing education courses that we published on LinkedIn, along with articles that dealt with treating members of this community.
What does being recognized by the Webby Awards mean for you and your collaborators?
Being recognized by the Webby Awards is a huge honor for us and our partners. It not only highlights the quality of work put out by this labor of love, but also brings even more awareness and visibility to an important issue that SimplePractice and incredible organizations like Encircle are trying to solve.
