Eliot Higgins is a citizen journalist, as well as the Founder & Executive Director of Bellingcat, an international collective of researchers and open-source investigators. They use the available data on the Internet, from maps, records and more, to break some of the biggest stories about international conflicts, including smuggling operations, airstrikes, weapons trading and more. That’s why this year The Lovie Awards (our European counterpart) honored him with a Lovie Special Achievement Award. He joined us to talk all about his work.
