Bringing together the brightest minds in the industry to discuss the future of the Internet through virtual events, Webby Talks and proprietary research. To celebrate the 25th Annual Webby Awards, the Webbys are launching Overwrite Tomorrow; a brand new virtual event and editorial series that kicks off this October. Our community will come together to consider the future of the Internet in the series of entertaining and informative events, presentations, podcast episodes and our new trend report.
This year marks our 25th anniversary. It also marks a time during which we’re all navigating rapid change. Throughout this turbulent time, the Internet has accelerated to become the tool that holds us together—while shedding light on systems that need to change. Since March, we’ve seen phenomenal innovation across the world, from the invention of new platforms, sites and virtual experiences to products that meet real world needs. The impact of this moment on our industry is enormous and we will be bringing together the individuals, companies and groups who are using their platforms to create a better Internet and a better future.
The talks and events will be focused around the findings of our new Webby Trend Report: Overwrite Tomorrow: How the global pandemic created an indispensable Internet, and ignited the urgency to build a better future.
Our Overwrite Event series will be returning in Jan 2021 for How We Entertain & How We Connect, we can’t wait to see you there!
