Statement from The Webby Awards in support of the Ukrainian people

The Webby Awards stands in solidarity with Ukraine, all of its citizens, and those in Russia who oppose the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian government.

27 years ago, The Webby Awards was created to celebrate the best Internet work across the world wide web. Each year, we receive over 14,000 submissions from over 80 countries. Despite our goal of honoring work from every corner of the world, this year The Webby, Lovie and Anthem Awards will not recognize and will not accept work from Russian-based and Russian owned organizations.

IADAS is supporting Ukraine through HelpUkraine.center, which is providing humanitarian and medical aid to people in need https://helpukraine.center

Our thoughts go out to our entire community affected by this invasion. All Russian entrants can contact Evey Long at evey@webbyawards.com for more details.
