Morris Cornbread has found a way to make New Yorkers stop and talk. The Queens-born comedian and creator of SUBWAY ORACLE has transformed the MTA into his own late-night stage. Morris blends unscripted chaos with sharp comedic timing, pulling unexpectedly heartfelt stories from unsuspecting strangers to some of the biggest names. Think Jack Quaid, A$AP Ferg, Kai Cenat, Common, Karen Fukuhara, G-Eazy and Hannibal Buress, to name a few of whom he’s interviewed.
What started as an underground experiment is now a cultural mainstay, amassing over 33.1M views and a 2025 Webby Nomination for Best Prank, Stunt, or Activation by a Creator. We spoke with him in our latest edition of Feedworthy to dig into how he built his platform.

People from New York, especially Queens. New York is making it big and making noise for the city. Queens has always been one of the quieter boroughs, so seeing fellow artists blossom from neighborhoods not too far from me is really inspiring. Musical Artists like Cash Cobain and Lexa Gates, both being born in Queens, and entertainers like Zeddy Will and TheShiggyShow show me that anything is possible and Queens got what it takes! Also, just being from Queens helps me remain humble and intact with the culture of the core of New York. Dave Chappelle will forever be on my mood board until the end of time!!!
It takes resilience and a bit of luck to make the best content.
A social media trend I’m obsessed with is when kids of divorced parents have their mother call their father to say goodnight. I find that funny and the reactions are cool.
Social media ins are GIFs as a comment and sliding up on a story to shoot your shot at your online crush or to tell someone Happy Birthday. The outs are video calling through IG.
@subwayoracle Bro never signed me 😔 #subwayoracle #jasonderulo #nyc
Dave Chappelle or Lil Uzi. I think both of these artists are some of the best at what they do and I grew up consuming their work, so it would be a full circle moment in history for me! Dave’s iconic stand-up show, “Killin’ Them Softly,” really made me want to do comedy in the first place. I first saw it on YouTube through clips, and ever since then, I’ve been wanting to do comedy!
I want to make a stamp in the comedy and cinema world in my own unique way! I started my own production company called Cornbread Productions. I’m excited for the world to see and experience my future!
