Dr. Sue Black OBE is the founder of BCSWomen and #Techmums, the savior of Bletchley Park, and the 2018 Lovie Awards Lifetime Achievement Winner. We chatted with Dr. Black in London for the Webby Podcast.
Technology and education have massively changed my life, my kids' lives, and basically taken us out of poverty.”

Dr. Sue Black has been championing women in tech since the early days of her career—from starting BCSWomen, the UK’s first networking group for women in computing, to founding #Techmums: her social enterprise for women in tech, to her incredibly effective campaign to save Bletchley Park and preserve the stories of thousands of female codebreakers who worked in secret during WWII.

For all of these reasons, we were honored to honor her at the 8th Annual Lovie Awards—European sister of The Webbys—in London with this year’s Lovie Lifetime Achievement Award.

Host David-Michel Davies sat down with Dr. Black the morning after The Lovies to talk about her life in tech, how the campaign to save Bletchley Park came together, and more. Listen now.
