About the 5G for Change Hackathon
We’re challenging our community to envision how to change the world through technology and make real-world changes together. Teams of no more than six members are invited to submit a pitch of what cause or issue they want to fix, and how 5G and the Internet can help fix it. Finalists will attend a pitch day in front of our expert judges on Friday, April 29th at Verizon’s 5G Lab in New York City. The winning team will be announced on stage at the 26th Annual Webby Awards, and will win a $50,000 cash prize and the first-ever 5G for Change Webby Award!
