The 25th Annual Webby Awards feature new honors for Software Services & Platforms, Diversity & Inclusion, Virtual & Remote, and more. Here's what's new and how to enter.

Every year we work alongside our judges and industry experts in the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences to introduce new and expanded categories to keep with our mission to recognize the very best work on the Internet.

The Webby Awards honors the best of the Internet across Websites and Mobile Sites; Video; Advertising, Media & PR; Social; Podcasts; Games, and this year this year we are  excited to launch new honors for Apps and Software and Virtual & Remote.

New Honors for Software Services & Platforms

This anniversary season, we’ve introduced a new suite of honors for Software Services & Platforms to recognize the explosion of products and services that  help people create work, organize teams and grow businesses all over the world  including:

New Suite of Honors for Virtual & Remote

Since March, we’ve seen the acceleration and proliferation of online events all over the world. To honor the creative ways people are connecting, we have a new suite of Virtual & Remote categories for virtual events, remote experiences and VR & 360. Categories include:

Keeping pace with the continued expansion of Podcasts in 2020, the 25th Annual Webby Awards is introducing dedicated Podcasts honors for Individual Episodes including Arts & Culture, Documentary, News & Politics and more. Additional categories include

  • Categories for Diversity & Inclusion in General Series, Limited-Series and Individual Episode
  • Honors for Limited Series & Specials including Entertainment and Scripted (Fiction)

  • Mobile Specific Features & Design honors including Best Responsive/Adaptive Design for Mobile, Best Mobile User Experienceand Best Mobile Visual Design – Aesthetic
