Social media has come an incredibly long way and we’ve seen its journey from the very beginning at The Webby Awards. With so many great accounts and platforms to choose from, it’s easy to get lost in the feed. In honor of our new social media categories in Social Content Series and Social Campaigns, here’s a round-up of social media Webby winners who blew us away.

Plugging current events into your FYP one video at a time, the Washington Posts’ TikTok has become the go-to unconventional news source. Through each video, they deliver hard-hitting news using funny and trendy formats–masterfully reporting on important stories in a playful way.
