With nine Webby Nominees, R/GA NY leads all agencies in nominations, and joins 72andSunny LA (8), McCann NY (6), and Ogilvy Paris (6), in primary contention for Webby Agency of the Year, presented to the agency that performs the best across all Webby Awards categories. Other Agencies with multiple nominations also in the running for the ultimate prize with four nominations each are Clemenger BBDO, Droga5, Mullen, and Pereira & O’Dell.

“The Nominees in the Interactive Advertising & Media category illustrate the exceptional creativity captivating audiences amidst an increasingly cluttered world of Online content,” said David-Michel Davies, Executive Director of The Webby Awards. “These distinguished Nominees not only exemplify the type of cleverness that invites consumers to engage with brands but encourages them to share content and connect with one another.”

This year’s Webby Awards received more than 12,000 entries from all 50 U.S. states and over 60 countries worldwide. From the thousands of global entries submitted to The Webby Awards, only 8% were selected as Nominees. Winners will be celebrated at a special ceremony held at Cipriani Wall Street on Monday, May 19th, hosted by critically acclaimed actor and comedian Patton Oswalt. This year’s show will be available on demand at www.WebbyAwards.com the morning of Tuesday, May 20th.
