NEW YORK, April 20, 2021 – The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) today announced the Nominees for The 25th Annual Webby Awards. Among those recognized this year in the Advertising, Media & PR categories are 360i, 72andSunny, AKQA, Cheil Worldwide, David&Goliath, Edelman, FCB, FRED & FARID, Heimat Werbeagentur GmbH, Leo Burnett, Mother New York, Phantom, Ogilvy, Serviceplan, Taxi Toronto, The Martin Agency, The Monkeys, Weber Shandwick, and Work & Co.
The contenders for this year’s Agency of the Year are those agencies that earned more Webby Awards nominations across all categories than any other agency. Leading the nominees are Droga5 with 16 nominations. They are joined by McCann New York (12 Nominations), BASIC (11 Nominations), R/GA (11 Nominations), Wieden+Kennedy (11 Nominations), TBWA\Media Arts Lab (10 Nominations), Goodby Silverstein & Partners (10 Nominations), and BBDO New York (8 Nominations).

All Nominees are eligible to win the Internet industry’s two most prestigious awards: The Webby Award, selected by the Academy, and The Webby People’s Voice Award, voted on by Internet fans around the world at http://vote.webbyawards.com. Voting for The Webby People’s Voice Awards is open now until Thursday, May 6, at 11:59 PM (PT).

The Webby Awards received a record-breaking 13,500 entries from 50 states and 70 countries worldwide. From the thousands of global entries submitted, fewer than 10% were selected as Nominees.
Winners for The 25th Annual Webby Awards will be announced on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, culminating with an Internet celebration hosted by actress, advocate and host Jameela Jamil. Fans will be able to watch the star-studded, virtual show on-demand featuring special moments, and hallmark 5-Word Speeches from all the Winners, on Tuesday, May 18 at www.webbyawards.com.
