Before they were onstage at the 20th Annual Webby Awards, where Eva presented Lena Dunham & Jenni Konner with an enormous birthday cupcake and the New Founders of the Year Award, Eva and Lena where having a meeting of the minds over at Facebook’s New York City HQ.

The Head of Fashion Partnerships at Instagram and one of fashion's biggest social media stars, Eva Chen is also a Webby Awards Judge.
She was on the pre-med track at Johns Hopkins until she decided to give publishing a try during a summer off. One internship led to another, and the rest is history. Eva refers to her incredible career as “a great risk and a great adventure.”
Every morning on her way to work she poses in the back of a NYC taxi— feet-up, handbag nestled in the corner, a piece of fresh fruit on display. After regularly sharing these photos with her 300-thousand plus followers, the #evachenpose has produced more than 1,500 copycat posts on instagram.
As Ms. Wintour told us at The 15th Annual Webbys, “sometimes geeks can be chic.” And one of her first moves as newly appointed artistic director of Conde Nast was to recruit the tech-savvy Eva as a consultant for Lucky. Ms. Chen was hired as editor-in-chief soon after.
And the first Asian-American to fill the role at Conde Nast. And the first of the Internet generation—recently cementing her status by putting bloggers on the cover of Lucky, another first.
And quite possibly the first to introduce their new baby to the world via Snapchat.
