About The Webby Awards:

The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet, and has been for over two decades. Reflecting the tremendous growth of the Internet, The Webbys honors excellence across Websites, Video, Advertising, Media & PR, Apps, Mobile & Voice, Social, Podcasts,  and Games.

Who reviews submissions?

Webby Winners are selected by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), a global organization of industry experts and technology innovators. You can see them all here. The online public also chooses The Webby People’s Voice Winners by casting ballots for their favorite Nominees during the annual voting period.

Why should I enter?

+ Webby Winners run the gamut from the Internet’s biggest names to the smallest independent creators. And when you win, you stand alongside past Webby Winning creators and brands as the best in the industry, including: Airbnb, NASA, Google, BuzzFeed, HBO, Burberry, and Weiden + Kennedy.

+ A Webby Win is an asset you can use in external communications to show prospective clients that your work is number one in its field. It’s also great for exposure: Last year’s Webby Awards earned 3.2 billion media impressions across the world.

+ Entering The Webbys shows your team that you think their work is award-worthy and can compete with the best of the Internet. Plus, winning a Webby can help you attract the best talent and keep raising the bar.

+ Entered work is reviewed by some of Internet’s biggest innovators in IADAS, including: Werner Vogels, CTO, Amazon; Emily Weiss, Founder & CEO, Glossier; Cal Henderson, Co-Founder, Slack; Colleen DeCourcy, Global Co-Executive Creative Director, Wieden + Kennedy; Desus Nice, Co-host of Desus & Mero on Showtime; and more. See all the judges on the IADAS website.

+ Winning a Webby also means an invite to the Internet’s biggest night, the annual Webby Awards show. This is your chance to rub shoulders with the Internet’s biggest digital creators and online luminaries.

+ But winning isn’t the only way to get in the spotlight. Each year, IADAS judges select outstanding entries to be recognized as Official Honorees (less than 15% of entrants receive this honor)—if selected, your work earns a permanent place in Internet history in the Webby Winners gallery.
