“ What has moved, inspired and convinced me is that some brands do more than selling a product, but actually change the world with their creativity.”
What is the Award & How’s it Calculated?
The Webby Brand of the Year Award will go to the company who earns the most Webby Awards, People’s Voice Wins, Nominations and Honors in the competition.
Performance is determined through a point system established by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS). Points are awarded based on the number of Winning projects, Nominations and Honors received by a company across all categories.
Our Judging Academy will use the information in the “Parent Company” and “Individual Credit” fields to determine ownership. Work entered on behalf of the brand, by the company itself and by all partners—agencies, production companies, collaborators and creator partners—will be considered in Brand of the Year calculations.
Organizations in the running for these awards will be notified during our Nominee Announcement in Spring 2025. The recipients of the awards will be announced along with all Winners of the 29th Annual Webby Awards and showcased with distinction as a Special Achievement recipient in our Winners Gallery + Index.
“ There was a renewed focus on narrative this year, with our finalists leaning on emotional storytelling to drive engagement. Product sites need to connect with audiences on an emotional level, that goes beyond simple product features and builds a connection with the broader brand – and issues they are trying to solve.”
