1. Winners Announcement
Tuesday, May 19th at 8:00am ET:
All Winners will receive an official email notification listing the details of their win, and direct them to view their official listing on the new Webby Winners Gallery + Index.
Winners should get their speeches ready: During the Internet Celebration, all Winners will have a special moment to record and share their 5-Word Speech. There will also be an option to upload a 5-Word Speech. Record a horizontal or vertical video on any smartphone, or upload an H264 file. Video should be no bigger than 10MB.
2. WFH: Webbys From Home Celebration
This year’s Internet Celebration WFH: Webbys From Home will be a very special digital experience honoring this year’s best digital creators, as well as those who are using the Internet to respond to COVID-19.
Tuesday, May 19th at 3:00pm ET (that’s 8:00pm GMT or 12:00pm PDT):
The celebration, hosted by three-time Webby host Patton Oswalt will take place. Webbys From Home will be a first of it’s kind Internet experience. At 3 pm, all Webby Winners will receive an email with a personal URL that will take them to our site to watch, participate and share their speech in this year’s Webbys From Home. In addition to recording their speech, every Winner is in for a very special surprise!
Note: There are only a few hours between the Winners Announcement at 8:00am ET and Internet Celebration at 3:00pm ET. All Nominees should prepare their 5-Word speeches ahead of time!
3. Recording and Sharing Your Speech
At 3:00pm ET, all Winners will be prompted to record their 5-Word Speech for each piece of work being recognized on the site. If teams want to be creative, there will be an option to upload a speech as well.

This is a new experience, so we want to help! On May 19th, we’ll have a customer service text messaging system up and running. If Winners need any questions answered on the Internet Celebration, how to upload their speech, etc, our team will be here to assist.
