Welcome to Webby 31 – A Note from Our GM, Nick Borenstein

A note from Webby General Manager Nick Borenstein on the season ahead.

Welcome to the 31st Annual Webby Awards!

For more than three decades, The Webby Awards has recognized the people and teams creating the very best of the Internet. Across every era of its evolution, Webby Winners have reflected culture, moved it forward and set the standard for what Internet excellence can be.

As we enter a new season, I’ve found myself thinking about why certain work stays with us while so much else disappears into the feed. The Internet, after all, is not known for standing still.

The work we remember is rarely the loudest. It is the work that feels most distinctly itself, with a clear point of view, bold choices and the unmistakable mark of the people who made it. This season, we’re celebrating exactly that.”
— Nick Borenstein, General Manager, The Webby Awards

For the 31st Annual Webby Awards, we are expanding our honors across AI, Creators and Podcasts, while introducing a new slate of Sports honors to recognize more kinds of work and more of the people behind it.

Entries are now open across our full suite of recognitions, including Websites and Mobile Sites, Video & Film, Advertising, Media & PR, Apps, Software & Immersive, Social & Games, Podcasts, Creators and AI, with the Early Entry Deadline on Friday, October 30, 2026.

With an Academy judging panel featuring Jake Shane, Comedian, Digital Entertainer and Host of Therapuss; Claudine Cheever, Chief Marketing Officer, Pinterest; Jason Kwon, Chief Strategy Officer, OpenAI; Bill Simmons, Founder and CEO, The Ringer; Kim Larson, Managing Director and Head of Creator & Gaming, YouTube; Chris Bellinger, Chief Creative Officer, PepsiCo Foods U.S; Jenny Storms, Chief Marketing Officer, NBCUniversal Television & Streaming; Tekedra Mawakana, Co-Chief Executive Officer, Waymo; and Amy Weisenbach, Chief Marketing Officer, The New York Times, the 31st season is set to be one of our most exciting yet. Learn more about our new and returning judges here.

Entrants this season will join a legacy that includes past Webby Winners like Apple, Anthropic, Snoop Dogg, Netflix, Amelia Dimoldenberg, The New York Times, Roblox, SZA, Duolingo, Loewe, Letterboxd and so many more. We can’t wait to see which ideas, experiences and voices will join them, and which will stay with us long after this season is over.

If you made something this year you’re proud to put your name on, give it the recognition it deserves. Enter the 31st Annual Webby Awards and Show Your Work.
