We’re excited to announce that comedian, actress, and writer Jenny Slate is hosting the 23rd Annual Webby Awards!
In addition to killing the stand-up comedy scene since 2008 (she co-founded the acclaimed comedy show “Big Terrific), her acting skills are top notch. She’s appeared in tons of films and shows, like Obvious Child, Parks and Recreation, Saturday Night Live, as well as animated works Zootopia, Bob’s Burgers, and most recently Big Mouth.
Jenny also co-created and voiced the Internet’s favorite mollusk, Marcel the Shell with Shoes On. Plus, she’s a published author: Watch out for the release of her new book Little Weirds.

In 2010, Jenny co-created a hilarious, stop-motion film about the life of a strange mollusk: Marcel The Shell With Shoes On. The best thing about Marcel? His woeful, raspy voice… well that and the fact that he drags around a piece of lint to substitute as a pet dog.

Jenny is a great person, but she’s admitted that her character on Parks and Recreation was “the worsttttt.” For six episodes, she played Mona-Lisa Saperstein, Jean-Ralphio’s twin sister and a new sales associate at Rent-a-Swag.
